In 1990 Allied Hygiene was formed to manufacture Industrial Wet Wipes and Non Woven cloths for food production companies and food hygiene suppliers. From basic beginnings in a single clean room on an industrial estate in South East London, the company gradually expanded into adjacent units with customized machines and hygiene critical filling areas.
Following steady and consistent growth, the company’s manufacturing, office and main warehouse facility moved in September 2007 to its current purpose designed premises in Erith, Kent on a site which allows for future expansion.
Whilst Allied’s major key accounts and distribution partners are based in the UK, since 2008 it has focused its activity in developing its partnership network in Europe and other international markets.
Its commercial strategy is to supply its products via a network of distribution partners dependent on market sector. However, Allied also has a close dialogue with major end users of its products to assist in providing the right solution to wiping demands and to provide a valuable input to new product development.
Allied Hygiene has grown to become the trusted partner of major national, pan European and international customers and these partnerships have enabled Allied to develop both its product range and product development focus keeping the customer requirements forefront and looking to lead in innovation, value and performance.
